50 Year Unimog anniversary celebration in Gaggenau.

Two days of festivities. The Mercedes-Benz Unimog celebrates its 50th birthday from June 9–10, 2001, in the town of Gaggenau at the edge of the Black Forest in northern Baden. The local DaimlerChrysler plant began production, exactly half a century ago, of the world-famous implement carriers and all-terrain chassis known as the Unimog. The Unimog remains an unique vehicle design that embodies: reliability, robustness and durability brand values.
